I'm really curious. When Crackdown ships out on the Xbox 360 on February 20th, are all boxes going to enable the user to play Halo 3 beta, or just some "specially marked" boxes? I read the info released by Bungie and it makes it sound like only some boxes will have the beta invite, but i thought that if you purchase the game, you're automatically in. Informed feedback is welcome, thanks.

Only the marked boxes of Crackdown will have the Beta. So make sure you get one that is marked.

From the rumors, The Crackdown disc is meant to turn on a code over Xbox stay in which it provide you with get admission to to the Halo 3 beta. The undesirable element is that merely the first couple 100,000 copies of Crackdown may have the beta, and then the production will stop with the beta after that.
