if your friend is quite close to you and has this problem, what do you do? And you don't want to lose his/her friendship, how do you put it in the least offensive way?

tell them so...you are their friend and make sure they understand you are doing them a hugh favor. If they don't like it then be it. Better to come from you than a stranger, someone with authority over them or someone who will make fun of that person.

Ya, admitedly we have all faced this issue. It depends on if it is a boy or a girl. If a boy, be straighforeward (but not rude about it) just point out that they may want to put a little more time into their personal heigene. If it is a girl, however, you must be more sensitive about it. Maybe give them a gift w/ soap and other scented items. Offer them advice on your favorite items and encourage them to try them out sometime. Most of my friends are close enough that they'd prefer me to be completely honest with them aobut it so they can take care of the issue asap. They'd rather hear if from a friend then someone rudely making fun of them for it. well, best of luck

You could maybe just say when it is just you her and 1 or 2 more people someone has some bodyy odor and someone else has bad breath maybe she will take the hint or get her a new tooth tunes tooth brush they are really cool and teen spirit stick (tell her it was a gift). If she is poor it may not be her fault.

-hope I helped.

If your friends has bad breath go right out and tell them. they will thank you in the long run. its better to be told by a friend that you have bad breath or a bad odor then by a complete and utter stranger.

my best friend is like that..but not all the time, but still its there, and there really is no nice way to tell them straight up, but dont drop the relationship, if you do that then, the relationship must not have been really tight, but what you should do is like, if that person like sleeps ova o sumpin, be like.."woo i need a showa, u wanna take one?" but say it rele cool and hapy, or u can just hint that hygeine is a big thing to you...hopefully that will work, aight hope it does good luck!

I would approach then with telling them that you care about them and respect them. I would also add that if they ever noticed anything that was less than complementary you would want them to tell you. Be soft and offer help. You never know it may just be that they don't know what to do about it. As long as you are thoughtful of what you are saying and trying to be supportive you should be OK.

If she has a car just buy a stick of deodorant and leave it in her car with a sticker 'use me'. That way she doesn't know it was you and you don't have to hurt her feelings. Some people are grateful because they didn't know they actually stank.
