Which states have you lived in?
I currently live in Michigan and it SUCKS. My next move is back to Hawai'i.

I have lived in San Diego, CA my entire life. I really don't see any reason to leave, other than the fact that it is nearly impossible to buy a house unless you make half a million dollars a year. The weather is great, it's close to the beach as well as mountains and the desert. Mexico is a half hour away, depending on which part of SD you're in. We have the Chargers! Anyways, a good place that's near San Diego that isn't quite so expensive would probably be something like Temecula.

I lived in Connecticut for 5 years while I was a foreign student there. I have also lived in Tanzania, East Africa, and am currently living in Istanbul, Turkey.
I am planning to someday live in the Us, if that works out than my ideal states would be CT, MA, or VT.
Why do you hate Michigan by the way? Shoot me an email to explain cause I dont think I will stumble back to this question cause I am mostly in the movie section, lol.

On the coast in Northern California (fog belt). Weather and water is nothing like that in warm Hawaii. Only thing same is beautiful scenery and high cost of living and many low paid service jobs. Hard to earn enough money to get by for many people.

At the moment I live in Kentucky. I have also lived in Georgia and Tennessee. In June I will be moving to Italy for a year, then it's back to good ole' Kentucky.
I have family who live in Michigan....

Was born and raised in So. Calif. Now I live in Ark. and love it. Polite people, clean, quiet, peaceful place to raise a family, plus all the heart-warming Southern traditions. I still miss my extended family and visit as often as possible, but have never been sorry I made the plunge. So pleasant, safe and nice.

I live in Southern California.
My family used to live in Santa Ana, but we moved recently, and we hate our new Southern Californian city. Maybe we just need to adjust.

I currently live in Alabama, but I've lived in Alaska, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Montana, Arizona, and spent six months on a semi truck with my dad, traveling all over the United States.
I still miss Alaska, and want to go back there someday :(
