This is a really really loaded question. A more fair question would be, "Have only the super wealthy benefited from Bush's economic policies?" or "Is our economy strong?" On a functional level, you aren't going to get great answers when you have a lot of built in assumptions and biases right out of the gate in the way you framed the question via your word choice. Just a thought.
If all you are looking for is people to rally around the soapbox and validate your political beliefs, you could probably do better than the Yahoo Answers crowd (no offense) elsewhere.

Actually, although the wealthy did benefit from the tax cuts, so did the poor. If you make under a certain amount you get all of your Fed taxes back. On top of that, because of Bush you also get back what you didn't pay in taxes. I only make $65,000 a year and with tax cuts and deductions I get to keep more of my money. Because of the tax cuts the economy got back on its feet after the failure of Clinton's buddies in the Dot Com trash crash. While you try to spout your propaganda try facing the truth. If you are going to bash Bush, do it for being more like a Dem. than a conservative Rep. While he may not be far left like the egomaniac Pulosi, he isn't conservative. As far as the tax cuts, pretty much everyone has benefited from them.

The main reason has nothing to do with policy. The globalization of the economy is putting considerable pressure on the lower levels of the workforce and providing "winner take all" rewards at the top. This isn't going to stop.

But the Bush policies have exacerbated the income gap by giving tax breaks to the wealthiest and not investing in helping people at other levels of the economy.

of direction the tax cuts for the rich might want to expire. The mega rich threaten all sorts of outcomes in the adventure that they ought to pay merely about their truthful percentage, yet in reality they are going to not in any respect bypass over it. they are going to easily bypass decrease back to paying what they did in the previous Bush gave them handouts. They needed Bush to take us to war, yet do not favor to pay taxes to pay for it. they favor authorities amenities like position of beginning safe practices, conserving the highways, bridges, and infrastructure, emergency amenities, and each and every of the authorities will pay for, yet they don't favor any portion of financing all of it. they don't care about conserving the conventional public colleges, because they deliver their youthful ones to intense priced deepest colleges. rich conservatives do not favor to pay taxes, they favor authorities amenities, yet jointly they whinge about the deficit and "huge authorities." it truly is voodoo economics, as Bush Sr. referred to as it, even as Reagan change into doing it. the astounding element the rich have continuously finished is to convince the countless middle type that they ought to carry the tax burden and gives you the rich a loose journey. Bush Jr. once suggested, you could fool the countless human beings each and every of the time and those are those you want to spotlight. the middle type has really paid decrease taxes for the reason that President Obama took place of work, in accordance to the linked Press, yet tea buggers nevertheless insist their taxes were raised. i'm also puzzled as to why they whinge about how a lot wellness take care of themselves will value, yet do not ideas identifying to purchase the wellness take care of Congress. i assume all of it comes from getting your political recommendations solely from Australian billionaire Rupert Murdoch's Fox "information." The exciting element is that throughout Murdoch's position of beginning they have authorities wellness care. the middle type desires their tax breaks, and they are going to advance the commercial equipment with assistance from spending what they shop in taxes on needs, while the rich gained't because they don't favor to.

It is not only the super rich. The ones who actually put money back into savings and the stock market have benefited as well. People with retirements and mutual funds have made money. You know, the people who are actually working to make life better for themselves rather than complain that someone might have it a little better than them.
