Ok , im on orthotryclen lo , i am on my green pills right now, i have about 5 left. However my pharmacy told me that i won't get my refill until a week, which means i will be missing a few days. If i can't start this sunday and have to start next sunday-is that going to be ok? Meaning i may have to wait a whole week to start my new pack. I wont have sex during the week im off-but will i be protected once i start my pills next sunday?? or is it going to screw up the whole cycle??

your cycle may be a little off, but if it is at least you will know why. also, you need to make sure you are protected for a month after the new pack starts. they say that it takes a month for it to kick in when you start the pill, but you will want to be careful if you are missing a few days and then you start again.

Yes it will totally mess up your cycle. You need to tell the pharmacy the situation, or call your prescibing doctor, they may be able to give you a sample for this month until the prescription gets filled again. AGH I hate pharmacy's, it could also be an insurance screw up.

you should wait at least five days after beginning the new perscription to begin fooling around again, Take a break, let that thang rest a while.
