Personally, I think they are. Peyton is Larry, meaning he has a Championship, multiple regular season awards, and many records, while Brady is Magic Johnson, meaning he always plays well in the playoffs and has great stats. What do you think?

Josh, Manning has 2 regular season MVP's and one Super Bowl MVP with his 1 Super Bowl win (this one), while Brady has 1 Super Bowl MVP with one of his 3 Super Bow wins.

That is an awesome analogy, you nailed it. These two guy's are the best of the best at there positions. The fact that they have to play each other every year makes the rivalry even better. Bird and Johnson gave us some incredible sports moments, from college threw there pro careers. Nice, T.C.

Peyton Manning's and Tom Brady's rivalry is nice but hasn't quite gotten to the Bird vs. Magic level.

When Bird and Magic met it was in the NBA Finals which determined the champion. When Manning and Brady meet it's to go to the next level/game. Intense yes but not quite the same.

Brady has two super bowl MVPs. Otherwise, the analogy is a good one. Being from Boston, I would have to say that Brady is Bird. Manning can be Magic.

Yes but the only problem is that they are not on the field the same time. Bird and Magic where on the floor and went up against each other when they played. They had more control as to who wanted it more unlike Brady and Manning where they had to leave it up to there defenses on the outcome of a game.

Most definately. I feel bad for Brady, to be honest. He's a damn good player who most definately deserves a championship. He too, like Magic just hasn't been able to get it done, let's hope that it does happen. But I don't personally believe it's a rivalry, not even a friendly one at that... Only because the two aren't on the field at the same time and that the other can live with the fact that the other has a championship.

it wasn't a rivalry before because brady had the rings and super bowl mvp trophies. now that peyton won the past three meetings between them and he has a ring and super bowl mvp..NOW it's a rivalry.
