I think this question illustrates more about your ignorance of biological processes than anything else. Immediate human ancestors from 50,000 years ago would be almost indistinguishable from modern humans.
The earliest hominids are *not* descended from chimps; rather, humans and chimps have a common ancestor. While the average person would consider them 'chimp like' any experienced primatologist would think they look as different from modern chimps as they do from modern humans. Not that I would expect the average Bible-thumper to understand that.
