I want to paint something glittery gold and my sister has this nail polish that has the exact color that I want, but I dont know if it would work well on paper. Does it look the same when dry? Is it permanent on paper?

Yes, but don't put it on very thick, or the paper will curl.

It depends on how big the sparkles are in the nail polish. Sometimes it will just look like a streak of glitter rather than nail polish. You might want to try a small bit on a note card to see how it will go onto the paper before you use it for what you want it for. There are always the glitter paints at craft stores as well, but I would suggest trying it in a small paper like a note card first so you can see what your results would be for sure. Good Luck!

nail polish works fine on thick card, but i would not recommend it for paper as when the nailpolish goes on it makes the paper see through and you wont have colour to cover it over.
glitter paint is probably the best option, or even some glitter, mixed with a clear glue will work the same.

good luck!

it relatively is a tough one. each producer makes use of a touch distinctive technique with nail enamels, ensuing in various tiers of placed on and tear resistance. somewhat some the get admission to-point manufacturers (ny shade, moist'n'Wild, &c.) have a unfavourable music record for placed on. i'm already attentive to a minimum of two manufacturers addressing issues corresponding to yours of leaving shade strains the place they ought no longer be: Revlon, which presented the ColorStay nail ending device some years lower back (a 2-step device with a severe-adhesion shade layer and acrylic good coat), and Sally Hansen branch, Del Laboratories, who presented the puzzling As Nails puzzling As Wraps teeth sequence final 365 days and already have shopper testimonials to this technique's effectiveness. i won't rule out different companies engaged on strategies to this placed on issue.

Try it on a separate piece of that kind of paper. If you like the results then use it. If not then don't.
