If you are too young for him, he is probably not interested for that reason....but, if he is about you age...then I would have to say...just be yourself...because if that is not enough, then he will use you for the wrong reasons and end up hurting you or getting you to compromise yourself in the long run

ok some these answeres lil xrated for getting attentions jeese...first off you would be suprised at the number of older males who are attracted to younger females....age doesnt stop imagination...but bars stop interaction. believe it or not guys would love to have a girl come up and talk to them start flirting and he will get the picture, most guys will flirt back esp if interested. but as a guy most guys like to be teased a lil bit dont make it to easy for him yet dont make it impossible to be able to flirt with you...its like the game of fishing you tugg on the line little by little to attract the fish the better you are at it the bigger the fish you get, but if you pull to hard the line breaks and that fish is lost.

get his e-mai somehow and chat with him or send him an e-mail, quiet people often talk a lot in the internet :). If that is not possible, then just go straight up to him, if he is as quiet as you say, he probably never gets a chance to talk to girls, so he would definitely like it. If he acts like is not interested just keep on pushing, he is just shy.

Try approaching the guy,and make a conversation with him.It would
be helpful to dress up sexually to get his attention.That isn't to say that you should dress up like a whore,,just try to be more appealing
to the guy.Men like women who can show that they can take care of themselves.If he's the strong silent type,you have to give it time for him to open up.Believe me I'm a guy and I'm the same way,and I know exactly what you mean.

start the convo. let him know ur not at all concerned about any kind of age difference. flirt with him a little and maybe talk to some of his friends and get to know him that way

Tell him you want to talk, Be fun and interesting for him without being a little kid. If you bend over with tight pants or a loose top, he won't really want to talk.

you do not have to say anything to him. just show him your chest with the shirt off. you will get his attention and something else will rise to attention.
