haha, i like your question.
It amazes me that people would still vote for Bush again, esp after this second term. People must have their blinds on.
Each time I see a bumper sticker with Bush/Cheney, I automatically have
to speed up to see the face of the person who voted for the devil himself.
:)

In '00 I voted for Bush. Though in the primaries I voted for McCain. In '02 I tried to recitify that decision by voting for a Democrat, for the first time. I had noticed by then that there had been a radical shift in balance in this country. In '04 I maintained my vote for balance, my vote was for Clark. I figure who else but a retired General to replace a sitting wartime President. A lot of people think war is the whole job of a general. It isn't. Diplomacy is the first rule. I figure Clark was handed the table scraps to keep him from being the front runner with the Democrats, he was still too new. Kerry ended up with my vote. In '06 I again maintained my vote for balance.

The two campaigns I would like to see in rerun but against each other, are McCains 2000 bid and Clarks 2004 bid for the office. To me they both were the strongest candidates for the job, yet had lackluster campaigns.

Cheney? I don't pay much attention to him. We don't vote for them individually, do we? As for Bush....I voted for his father in the very first Presidential primary I could vote in. He lost to Reagan. I voted for Daddy Bush twice and Junior both times and if he were running again, I'd vote for him again. In fact, I'd campaign for him this time--and I hate that sort of thing.

The first time I was proud to vote for him, the 2nd time not as much, but still better than Kerry.
