Physical science is not Earth Science.

Physical science is science having to do with physics: velocity, gravity, atomic forces, energy in general, and how things move.

Biological Sciences have to do with living things: anatomy, general biology, genetics, humans, animals, plants etc.

Look at UC's requirements on the webpage. They probably only require you to have so many credits of any kind of science (chemistry, physics, biology, anatomy, phys. science, etc.). If you are interested in one you may want to take more.

Physical science is Earth Science -- geology, astronomy, meteorology, oceanography. The Earth, physical.

Biological science deals with the cell, evolution, simple organics, etc.

You'd have to look it up with your school and, of course, UC, and it all depends on what degree you plan on taking. In my high school, however, it is required that we take three years of science at least to graduate.
