I need to take Physics and Chemistry. It is my senior year. Instead of having the burden of taking two sciences next year, is there anyway possible I could take one over the summer? My school does not offer summer school. What other ways could I accomplish this? Does anyone have any ideas?

You should investigate whether your school board has correspondence courses you could take. I took Grade 10 Biology and Chemistry by correspondence. Also often school boards offer summer school courses, I took my senior year chemistry course over the summer at a high school, before my senior year began.

One option is to take a college science class for one semester ,sometime some schools will count that as one year.Take a community college science class . And next year take a high school science class. Maybe if you take one science class at a college the school might consider counting that as your credits needed. It really depends on the school. At the same time you can get college and high school credit and then you will have less school and it will help if you wanna graduate college earlier, or say you are planning on going to a university. Good Luck

My school offers what's called Option Two. If I wanted to take a course over the summer, I would file papers with my school by, for example, June 1st, in order to do this. I would find a licensed teacher in that subject who would teach me 30 hrs worth of the subject over the summer. I would then take a proficiency test, and if I passed, then I would receive credit for that course. Check to see if your school has a program like this. Hope I helped...

I went ot our interior of reach college commencing in my sophomore 365 days. touch your interior of reach college for extra documents, and in the adventure that your credit could flow to a 4 365 days degree. provide them a decision and set up an appointment to flow to the campus. I additionally took CLEP assessments on the college for training like Algebra. My college rates now $ninety for the attempt and provide you finished 3-4 hour course credit in case you pass. what's super is then you do not might desire to take the comparable type you took in extreme college as quickly as extra in college. Ask approximately those too. in case you're solid on your grades, and surprisingly solid on assessments you are able to take as a lot of those as you are able to discover the money for. I exceeded 5 of them, so rather the 1st 0.5 of my beginners college 365 days grew to become into 'carried out' for lots extra maximum reasonably-priced than if I took the class.

Take one at a community college, they offer summer classes. But you have to make sure that your counselor says that this is all right.

Look at nearby private schools that offer summer school, or online courses. Make sure your school will give you credit.
