2.00 per hour per child is what I would pay.

Our 14 year old baby sitter gets paid $3.00 for the first kid per hour and then $0.50 per each additional kid per hour. So, when he is watching 4 kids we base our hourly wage on $4.50 / hour ( 3.00 + .50 + .50 + .50 ). This is just our guideline for a per hour wage.

Then, depending on how the night went we often times add a little bonus based on

1. Are the kids safe
2. Did the kids have a fun time with their babysitter. Did they sing songs, did they make it into their jammies and get a reminder to brush their teeth etc.
3. Is the house a mess (not so important if the kids had a great time) or did the babysitter tidy up a bit (always worth a little extra $$).
4. Does the babysitter have experience babysitting or are they trained in safety procedures like CPR etc.

The most important thing being the kids being safe. If the kids request that same babysitter then we bump up the base hourly wage.

Hope this helps!

welll it does depend on how old the sitter is...and how difficult it is handle the child...but i'd say around 4-5 bucks an hour...its not that much but eventually youll have more experience and you can raise your prices to 6,7,8 bucks... :]]

You see parents look into children around 14 maybe 2-3 bucks, but are willing to pay more if you charge more..only if you have experience, seem to work well with children, look safe, and are pretty intelligent and know when things are going wrong...Remember that you'll recieve more money if the same people keep calling you, and soon you'll become friends with the family, you'll start to get more calls and you'll earn more money [+ raises]...

Hope this helps!! :]]

depends on where you live. In my neighborhood, the kids get $8 to $12 minimum because it is a high income area. If I don't pay that, the kids won't show up.

If you live in a lower income area, in a downtown city, or in the country, you can get away with $5 to $7

i ought to ask the infant sitter how a lot she needs and then bypass from there.. she would say 5 bucks an hour... if she says 20, say the most u can provide her is 10 (that remains truthful, precise?).

it depends. typically $3 per child and hour is a reasonable price. but if these kids are notoriously awful, you can charge more cause the parents are pretty desperate. if they refuse to pay atleast $2 dont sit for them. i once got $10 per hour b.c it wasent to long (i think it was like 3 hours)
