some people ( who shall remain nameless you know who you are)
come to P&S expecting a serious question?
I mean ya some may slip through the cracks I have been guilty of asking serious ones too but come on!

LOL, I don't really expect anything, I just like some askers... but lately, i don't even answer much. the person who really makes me feel free to say anything is circlometry, I always play around in my answers to his questions. As for my questions, they define me, so I can't change the way I ask...

I think a lot of first time users and users that venture over to P&S for the first don't expect there to be this many random/not so serious questions on here. Those people tend to get a little annoyed at times until they find a question they consider worth answering.
They have to understand that there are people of all ages on here and they will ask whatever they please and usually get a response.

I seriously have no idea at all.
My uneducated and very cynical guess would be people who can't tell the difference between serious ones and fun ones.
We all let a serious one go here and there cause we have friends in here that we would like to hear an opinion from, yet most of us in this three ring P&S circus can tell the difference and respond accordingly.
That's what I say.
ps while answering this I let one go myself, it wasn't a question but it was serious. Peeeeew!!! can I smell eggs ? lol

because a survey is usually a serious topic but some people ask ridicuous topics so that is why people expect these serious thing and also they think of polss like at elections which is serious

lol! are you joking? I don't mind any question on P&S. I like to answer easy and light ones to deep serious questions. Gosh, just take a chill pill and let people ask any question they want on P&S. If you don't like their question then obviously don't answer it!
