what happened to the greek national team, they won euro something or other and than couldnt even quilify for the 06 world cup doesnt make much sense. if anyone follows the greeks please explain this to me. also what going on with that ban they have right now there banned from soccer or something

The ban has been over for 6 months, UEFA told the Greek gov to stay away from the Hellenic Federation of Soccer or it would would ban the national team from international competition, so basically the sports minister did just that.
As to why the team is garbage now, its quite simple, 95% of the team is over 33 years old, same tactics used and exact same players - No fresh blood or tactics.

they couldn't make it b/c they play with 5 in the back and other teams figured out how to get them spread

the greeks are so relaxed and care-free that they could care less about the ban, i admire that life.
