umm.in case yahoo didn't know...we all have the 1st amendment to say, think, & believe whatever we want!! so what if I mention something about gays or speak vulgarly (with little ****'s) about things???? Gays have the freedom to be that way and I have the freedom to NOT like them. I put up a link w/ a funny pic & YAHOO decided to remove it cuz it involved myspace. oh....yahoo is playing big brother now!?!? the pic didn't even have any violence or nudity. it was just a guy saying sumthin & it didn't have cuzz words or slurs!

well the reason they are like this is because kids use this thing too.. i mean you dont want a 9 year old seeing something explicit... this is an open PUBLIC thing... so they have to keep it for everyone...
but i can understand what you are saying... it bugs me too that i cant curse.. lol.. i answer alot of questions and when i post my answer i am like oh shlt i said a curse.. and i didnt even realize it until i reread what i posted.. lol. its a pain, but i can understand it.

Please, try actually reading the first amendment. Do you even know what it says? It says "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. "
The key words here are "congress shall make no law". It does not say anything about private citizens or private organizations. They can do whatever they want within the bounds of the law. If Yahoo wants to make a rule saying that any questions or answers that have the letter 'z' in them will be removed, they have that right. They own the equipment and they make the rules, and when yo signed up you agreed to abide by those rules. Since Yahoo is accessible internationally, they are trying to comply with international laws. Many nations have laws against hate speech, and Yahoo is trying to abide by those laws.
If you don't like it, you're free to start up your own site or go elsewhere.
