If their a doctor they are a radiologist. Otherwise their just a radiology technician. But some obgyn's give ultrasounds too.

if your talking about a sonogram its usually done by an ultrasound tech...who is just a radiology tech with special training to operate the ultrasound machine... the results they come up with are usually then reviewed bythe radiologist himself. the only time a DOCTOR does one is if your OB doctor does one in their office, if you have a phase 2 Ultrasound(for high risk pregnancies) , or if the tech finds something questionable they will call either your OB or the radiologist in to confirm it.
