i am one too but i just wanna see how many cartoonists are out there and are cartoons popular?

I hope to be a cartoonist of sorts I'm currently attending animation school that really focuses on the classical style. pencle paper and flipping wooo. cartoons will always be popular because they can get away with what people can't.

Well, I'm a character animator and not really a cartoonist per se. At my school there are plenty of illustration majors focusing on cartoons, comic books, and the like. There are also a lot of 2D animation majors. It is quite popular.

I draw editorial cartoons for my school newspaper, it's so much FUN!!! I used to publish my own comic book and sell it around school, it was like 40 - 60 pages long and sold for $5. It was fun, cartoons will ALWAYS be popular!!!
