I believe that the Bruins passed the Buckeyes this week mainly because of the strength of their league. The Pac-10 has 6 teams in the top 25, while the Big 10 only has two.

A better question would be why is Ohio State ranked ahead of Wisconsin when they don't have anywhere near the number of quality wins as the Badgers, and they LOST head to head. The score was close, but Wisconsin plastered the Buckeyes.

I'm not totally sure. i think the buckeyes have a better team, with Oden, Jamar Butler, David Lighty, and Conley Jr. but the rankings don't really mean anything. if Ohio state wins the rest of their games, they are pretty much guaranteed a number 1 seed in one of the brackets in the NCAA tournament. also, osu's loses were vs. north Carolina, Florida, and Wisconsin. all on the road. it will be interesting to see what the next Wisconsin game will be like at the value city arena.
