Don't you agree? I was trying to make an Angel Dumont Shunard doll and found it quite difficult. Do you think Mattel should make a trans gendered or gay pride collectors Barbie?

TS Barbie Dolls would be educational. She would come complete with hormones, surgical scars, surgical clearance letters, a therapist's appointment card, etc. Sadly, she would also come with lawsuits for her rights, an ACLU membership card, harassment, bigotry, police brutality, and government officials who refuse to correct her ID.

No I'm not anti-gay, but come on, even if they go to collectors don't you think that some little girl will get there hands on it and I truly believe that they should not be exposed to this at such a young age, don't they have enough to deal with without one more thing to add. Also what is a gay barbie or ken doll suppose to look like??? I mean shouldn't they look like everyone else, because if not that would be a stereotype wouldn't it???

Why? Barbie is a mentor in a doll sense. How does being gay have anything to do with with being a mentor.

A mentor is a person of all shapes and sizes with good beliefs.

THAT has nothing do with being gay!

Even though I am not gay, I think they should have one. I know that might make many many people mad, but many would be pleased. This world needs diversity in our barbies instead of stupid ditzy blondes. (I am not saying there is anything wrong with being blonde or they are dumb, I am just saying most barbies are)

Never Happen. Mattel would have to become Gay-tel before they're ever do that! I'm not saying that they shouldn't, I'm just saying that You better not hold Your breath on that one.

that's just silly.....

especially since dolls, almost universally, do not include the anotomical parts required to make that distinction.... unless you are suggesting we start teahing three year olds exactly how sex works.... (let alone the different varieties...)
