My aunt is having a baby and she wants to know if Jessie Marie is a cute name. Its going to be a girl for sure. I don't like the name Jessie but I like the name Marie. What do you guys think of the name? Jessie also reminds me of a boys name, altho I understand that it can be either or. Her last name is Aidris

Jessie is a cute little girl name. And Marie just rocks (my middle name is marie). And really hunny its your aunts and uncles choice.

Jessie sounds more like a nickname than a first name and the two ee sounds don't go together. How about Jessica Marie Aidris. Or Jessalyn maybe. I just made that up. You should be creative and find a name that sounds good as a kid, teen, adult, and elderly person. But remember, it's not your baby so you don't have the final word, but you can vote for or against a name if you like. Good luck!

You're right - that name does sound like a boys name. Jessie would be a cute nick-name for Jessica. Jessica Marie sounds better.

I don't like the name Jessie neither. It sounds like a boys name. Marie it's cute and it goes with your aunt's last name.

Tell your aunt to name the baby Jessica. They can still call her Jessie, but if she ever wants other options, she'd have them.

I like the name Jessie. My mom's name is Justine Marie, I like that name too. Jesse can also be a boy's name, but, thats ok, so are lots of other names. Anyway, I like it, but, I like more oddball names if you know what I mean. Like maybe Summer, Jade, Diamond, kind of like that. Anyway, good luck on the baby names!

ummm...I don't like Jessie. Sorry. Marie is classic though. Why not Jessica...she could call her Jessie for short.
