No we cannot be content in that way. As a megalomaniac I can tell you I will not be content until I have conquered all and succeeded in those endeavors. Progress is nothing...only fulfulment of my destiny to rule the universe will satisfy, at least for at time...then it will be on to other universes.

No. Contentment implies satisfaction, and a megalomaniac is in constant pursuit of his/her own aggrandizement. There isn't a place where someone with this mental illness can stop and say, "Okay, that's enough. I'm happy now, and I don't need any more." The satisfaction doesn't last.

I don't believe he can be. If I understand megalomania correctly, he must also have the adulation he feels he should have for being a superior, omnipotent person, characterized by a need for total power and control over others.
Unless you are talking about delusional megalomania..in that case, he probably can.

yes, i think they would be happy, as long as they thought they were great,,,, thought they were becoming great,,,, and/or thought they were great at becoming great
