First of all, there is organised crime everywhere.
Canada is like the states, have you heard of an "american" mafia? No, same with Canada.
As far as France is concerned, there has never been important french immigration to the US like mexican, russian or italian. And it's generally dominated minorities who tend to develop organised crime, hence why there is no such thing as a danish mafia.
In France however there are criminal underworlds, the most famous being "le milieu" in Marseilles.

I have no proof of a French, Danish, or Canadian mafia, but I am willing to bet that there are, but they probably don't operate in America.

There's all kinds of "mafias" and criminals and underground family of all cultures. You've never heard of them because hollywood hasn't gotten around to filming them yet. I mean seriously, the only reason we know about these, especially the italian one, is from movies like The Godfather and stuff.

There's only one TRUE Mafia--the Sicilian Mafia. All the countries you listed do have criminal underworlds, though.

mexican "mafia" gangs are weak & sloppy. you wouldnt refer to russians & italians as a gang but as an organization. you see gangs on the news, you dont see the real mafia on the news because they stay quiet and to themselves and handle their business. they help those who need it, they dont go shooting around for the hell of it. they handle business when it needs to be handled. they want wealth and respect.. not popularity on social media and tv.

because they don't desire to do this and in order to have organized power you must desire it. bottom liine is that anybody can start a mafia if they truly want that no matter where you are from

My guess is that some cultures [countries] breed contempt and criminals, while surprisingly other cultures do not.
