You don't have to kill them. Just isolate the fish from the fries. Some sort of mesh net or bag should work. Once the fish are big enough you can let the blue gouramis mingle with them. Or you could sell/give them to a pet store.

STOP!! Please, first of all, bummer about the guppys. you can still keep the gourami fish in a seperate tank (they are really easy to take care of, you don't even need a bubbler).
however, if you are dead set on killing the fish, please please DON'T FLUSH YOUR FISH DOWN THE TOILET! The only way i do it is to fill a dish 1/2 way with ice and 1/2 way with cold water--the fish will slowly go to sleep and won't feel a thing. good luck!
also, FYI, the parent guppies will probably eat the babies too, so seperate them untill the babies are old enough to not be eaten

Anyone who has no idea that big fish eat little fish shouldn't be keeping an aquarium. Duh.
Anyone who doesn't bother learning anything, makes mistakes and then gets angy at FISH should take them back to the pet store and get some pet rocks instead.

What kind of awful person are you? Dont kill them. Bigger fish naturally eat tiny fish. Dont blame them. If you seriously want to get rid of them go to a pet store and tell them your problem and if they wont take them, put them in a plastic bag and set them at their door while they are still open. They cant just leave them there. By all means, dont kill them.

The most humane way to do it would be to drop the fish in a glass of club soda. But really, you should take the fish you don't want to your local fish store. Bigger fish eat smaller fish. It is just a way of life. My friends bass that we are storing until he gets his tank running, ate all of my baby guppys (about 40) in one night.
PS-Flushing a fish is just wrong. It is torture for the poor thing!

You are sad. If you have to try to prove how strong you are by killing a fish, something is wrong. Just give the fish to a friend., or give back to the place where you bought them, and use the money to buy yourself something.

Fish don't deserve the death penalty. Bring to a local pet store as a donation or for credit. Give them away to someone who'd enjoy caring for them. IF you must kill them, put them in the freezer, but I don't like people killing innocent creatures.
Next time, don't let ANY big fish live with baby fry. Baby fry are a natural food for other fish, even their own parents.

Don't kill them. That's ridiculous. Why don't you take them back to the pet store and explain your problem. Maybe they were aggressive fish and if they were that's your fault for putting them with community fish. Or you can just give them away to a friend.
