I have had hip pains during pregnancy and it is all apart of the adjustment your body is making. Don't be too alarmed. Make sure to rest as much as possible. When you lie down place a pillow between your legs to make your hips even this will lift pressure.
Try a maternity belt. This will lift the muscle that will relieve pain from your back and hips too. They are about 15 dollars.

I remember hip pain during pregnancy very well. I never found a trick to curing it because walking or excercising seemed to make it worse. After delivery I thought it would go away, but even a year later I still had a little trouble. It's due to the muscles and ligaments making room for baby. After you have the baby things will slowly return to normal. Until then ask your doc which pain relievers you can take. Good luck!

Those are called round ligament pains...and they usually happen when the baby is stretching and growing...call your doctor and find out if there is an over the counter medicine you can take to help relieve the pain some!

i am 38 weeks and my hips hurt when I sleep on my side at night. I asked my doc is there anything I can do to relieve the pain and he told me," Have the baby", so I don't think there is anything you can do but suffer.

i have exactly the me pain as you have.I'm 28 weeks pregnant and my Dr said it is common during pregnancy and try to use pregnancy belt that can hold your belly so it does not have pressure on you r hips .do not worry it is going to go away after you give a birth.

Yes I still have those pains and I am now 29 wks along. You can sleep with pillow between your knees and it will help you out some. I know how you are feeling and sorry it is happening.. good luck.

Sorry, there really isn't a cure for this. I remember how uncomfortable this was, but it is just one of those things that you have to endure for a wonderful outcome.
