First off..try switching to Aleve instead of Advil..It seems to work alot better. Next, you need to see an orthopedist instead of a general practitioner. These docs are very skilled at what they do, and can often times find problems that others over look or mis diagnose. Good Luck!

Leg cramps can be caused by a deficiency of potassium, among other things. Eating a good diet is important. Exercise and stretching are good too.

Knee pain is not the same thing, and osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, torn ligaments and strained or sprained muscle tendons can cause knee pain.

If the pain is in the knee and is chronic, a simple MRI can show any problems.

Definitely go to an orthop. or ask your family doctor for a referral or at a minimum an MRI. I have knee problems and different anti-inflammatories work at different times. There is no magic bullet, but you shouldn't have to be on pain meds at all times. You need to get this taken care of. It could be as simple as some Physical Therapy. Good Luck!

This could be because of muscle fatigue or dehydration. Try exercising all parts of your body. It also sometimes is due to disuse atrophy. Consult a doctor if it persists. You can also look for information in the web. I found this website very useful. http://aches.in/cramps.html

a lot of times, doctors have trouble diagnosing knee problems as the kenns are a major joint. something that might help is a product called "Move Free", it will basically replace lost cartillage, which could be your problem. they sell it at most drug and grocery stores.
