I can appreciate the fact that the right is having some trouble defending its national security policies, but the near-constant references to the TV show 24 are getting a little silly.

Obviously Martin Sheen would be a better president than Bush. I'm sure we can all agree on that.

What do you expect from a bunch of clueless people who actually believe the fictions Rush Limpbaugh tells them that they confuse with truths and policy analysis? I mean, you aren't dealing with the brightest lightbulbs on the planet here.

That's a lie. This guy named Sutherland something is going around saying he actually plays the great Heroic American Jack Bauer on TV. He is impersonating a great soldier of our country and needs to be stopped. Jack Bauer, sir, has saved this country many times, 6 that I have actually been witness too and you disparage his great name by comparing him to some actor named Keifer.

You, mediamatters and Cal Thomas all need to get a life.

Mediamatters is an extremely biased liberal website that disguises itself as some sort of media watch dog.

There are no near constant references to 24 from conservatives, you are just lying.

If you haven't heard there are radical Muslims in this world that want to kill all Infidels who do not conform to their rule of Allah. Not all Muslims by any means but statistically if there were people who had brought nuclear weapons into the country to blow-up population centers, odds are they would be of Arab Muslim decent. That is a fact.

The overall plot in 24 is closer to reality than say Desperate Housewives or Heroes for example. And someone referencing the show does not automatically make him invalid. But thank you for twisting an otherwise innocuous news article into something that staes "All conservatives are morons"

Obviously not. I was watching a segment on TV last week of one of there spin agents. They were showing the unedited version of a episode of "24" that was being censored. It was indicated that the story line would somehow expose the security of the nation to undo risk. I laughed, and I laughed.......

It seems that a lot of "people" have a problem with fiction and facts nowadays. And for those that don't like what the see on said show. George Carlin once said. There is a nob (button) at the bottom of the TV (radio) so you can change the station.

Won't matter much anymore because 24 just "jumped the shark" (the ratings are starting to tank) so Jack Bauer won't be around much longer.

Hon, I haven't seen any reference to the TV show 24, so I don't know what you're crying about. Not only do I know it's a show, I don't watch it.

Maybe they're just happy that a TV show is finally giving their side some props. But, yes, it's ridiculous. (By the way, dr_tom_cruise_md, we know all along that Martin Sheen wasn't really president. We just knew that it would be damned great if he were.)

I've never watched the show. But with its high ratings I would suspect not only conservatives watch it.

Well...I don't really believe that. But I am absolutely certain Billary should always keep her head up in case a big house tries to fall on her.
