A self-help book on how not to be so picky.

If he's that picky, he certainly can't be going out of his way to make sure you know how much he appreciated each and every gift you gave him, the thought you took to choose it, and to hide the fact that he doesn't like or use it.

How selfish. Call it picky, being particular, or peculiar, it's still not very nice. It's a sugar coated excuse to be rude.

You are even here spending time and effort to find something for him! How thoughtful of you.

Make him a card with loving words, with an IOU for a footrub or back massage, and make him a heart shaped cookie cake.

Tell him you know he's not the materialistic kind, and you know he'd rather a have meaningful, hearfelt simple 'gift' than all that storebought 'stuff'.
And truly, he probably doesn't need all that stuff.

Besides, it's supposed to be the man professing his love and admiration more than the woman.

Just my opiion. Happy VD! :)

The Answer is soooooo simple. Get him something hand made or crafted. Its the best gift ever. Be creative and try something other than something bought. Also this way he can't return it :) Personalized items are very nice too. You need to be a bit more decriptive on what kind of guy he is. Good luck

Try something home made and not commercial. Commercial cards/gift have little sentimental value. Get him homecooked food like cakes/cookies decorated to suit the occasion. Be creative and surprising about it too. Maybe arrange an outing to somewhere special or fun--make it a surprise. If all fails then how about a puppy from the shelter?

Get a big red ribbon/bow and put it on you.

That's what mine wants. Me in just a big red bow! With nothing else on of course.

Keep in mind that you will be occupied the rest of the evening!
