You can study its history. There are still some buildings there from the early expeditions. You can retrace the paths of Ross, Shackleton, Amundsen, Scott, Mawson, Byrd, Wilkins, Ellsworth, etc. If you look at a map of Antarctica, you will find their names and others. It would be interesting to travel and learn the story behind each name. You could hear about Shackleton rescuing his crew, Amundsen skiing to the Pole and eating his sled dogs along the way, Scott nearly making it back, Mawson's horrible encounter with a crevasse, Byrd being the first to fly to the Pole, Wilkins and Ellsworth teaming up to arrange the first transcontinental flight-- with Hollick-Kenyon and Ellsworth achieving it, despite not getting along at all. Those stories are fascinating.
You can also study geology there, or hunt for fossils. But most importantly, you can find out how tough you are.

The antartica is a very cold place, when I say cold I mean heart rinching cold , I dont think much is there except ice and snow, and i really dont think anyone can do anything there other than hunt for snow animals including seals and walrus, I dont see a vacation there very dreamy.

You can die trying to reach the South Pole leaving a widow and orphans. You can film a documentary on the emperor penguin. You can climb a mountain noone has ever climbed before. You can found your own country that noone will ever invade (or recognize).

There are mainly scientists working there on documenting the wildlife. So, I guess you could just hang with them and the penguins!

Die of hypothermia. Ironically that is kind of a 'vacation', since it is for a long time.
