I love Harry Potter books,and i would love for him to live in the seventh book, but there is a rumor that he is going to die because j.k rowling doesnt want to write any more books

They have made it pretty clear that either Harry or Voldemort has to die in order for the other to live. Since there are not going to be any more books, things aren't looking so good for Harry. I would like him to live though, just because he is a good guy and that whole world domination by evil thing isn't so good.

He most likely will because J.K. Rowling has so far followed the path of an epic hero which I just learned about a couple of months ago in an English course. Which means that Harry will live and get to be with Ginny. But who will die? Snape and Voldemort or Ron and Ginny or dRACO AND mR. weASLEY? So many possibilities.

After Dumbledore died in the 6th book I really have no clue what to expect!!! I really didn't think she'd kill off such an important character ;; but now that I know she will I kinda think Harry might die. I hope something doesn't happen to Ron tho - he's been my favorite throughout the whole series.!!!

I really don't care if he does or not, but it would be really bad for publicity.
People wouldn't want to read it or buy stuff if the good guys die.
This world hates sad endings.
I think he will live.
Malfoy can't die. Even though I don't follow the movie or books, I saw the 3rd movie and love Malfoy (as a character.) :)

i REALLy wnat him to too!!! but JKR did say that she wanted to leave the book so that NO one could right a sequel. so to do that he will proboly have to die. but im soooo sad it will all be over july 21,2007!!! i was sooo freaked out when i found out. it will totally ruin the 6th and 7th movies. oh and if ou like ahrry potter theries and you have itunes suscribe to the mugglecast podcast. it is FANTASTIC

I think he will live, somehow miraculously after his battle with voldemort, you know voldemort has to die, i think j.k. rowling will have some really cool way of harry defeating him, maybe ron and herminone will actually help, or maybe harry will die but somehow is resurrected

I want him to live, too! But, really, I think he will have to sacrifice himself in some way to kill Voldermort or save his friends.

he's going to die. rowling implied it by saying in an interview that she was having difficulties finishing the novel without both of them dying
