i really whant something thats kick-a-s-s, for shure not hp or gateway. I'd use it as music,games, school work, recording classes, storing pics, just about everything also internet like paying bills and surfing the web... price i do care some like under 3000 cuz i would get it in payments. so can some one help me?

If you're looking for a super fast computer for recording ( as in recording studio work ) check out the MusicXPC M4 and M4x. These laptops were designed for recording. Recording takes a lot of processing, but these laptops can handle it.
