He sounds like a bit of a user!! Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to split them up because your daughter is 24. If I were you, I would just keep rubbing it into her what kind of a loser user she is going out with! Maybe it will sink in one day and she will kick him out of her life and find someone decent!! Good Luck!!

Ugh! I was there! I was young and he was older. Oh, how I regretted it. Still do. Unfortunatly, I can't think of anything that would have stopped me. Maybe you could just act really interested and pretend you like him. Tell her how great it is, because she'll be able to skip over all the "20's kidstuff" and jump into the adult world of cooking, cleaning, and watching TV...alone...without her friends. Oh, I'll pray for you. Good Luck.

What a Bum!!! Incredibley resourceful man to prey on younger women and have them foot the bill....I'm afraid that your daughter has fallen in an infatuated relationship and needs to wake up and smell the bucks burning before she finds herself in a mound of debt....good luck, V

Well your daughter wants to be with this man so let her be with him... Let her make her own decisions in this relationship... She is an adult now. She should not give him money to gamble with though as that enables his habit.

i think that you are concerned cause your her mom but he might be a nice guy afterall, you never know. Besided it seems like you are basing it on his age, give him a shot, and if he is that cheap and your daughter loves like that, let her be. Good luck and hope everything turns out ok

Your daughter gave him the money - what about her? He doesn't sound that bad to me; you need to mind your own business, she is an adult.
