need to know color of smoke to answer completely
basically
white smoke = coolant leaking into combustion chamber
possible head gasket, warped head, cracked block, bad intake manifold gasket.
blue smoke = oil in combustion chamber
if it clears up within a couple of minutes valve stem seals and valve guides are bad. if it does not clear up piston rings, head gasket, warped head.
black smoke = fuel mixture too rich.
possible bad injector, fuel pressure regulator, throttle postion sensor, o2 sensor, mass air flow sensor, temperature sensor.
if the check engine light is on have the codes read to determine what the fault could be.

Probably not "Smoke" so much as burnt oil.

If you have an oil leak (accelerated by the engine running at a high speeld - ie: foot on gas) then you will see white/blue smoke when you accelerate.

The age of the vehicle leads me to think you probably have an oil leak on the valve cover gaskets or the oil-pan gasket. They are prone to leaking in Toyotas, Hondas and Acuras/Integras, of this age range.

Take it to your local mechanic and have them check for a small oil leak.

What kind of CAR IS THIS!!!???!!!??? If it's a GM engine, you may have a leaking intake manifold. White smoke usually means that you are burning some coolant along with the charge of fuel and air. Check you coolant level. This would cause the OBDII to throw a code when the car is cold. a coolant leak would affect the O2 sensor, and fuel mixture. GOOD LUCK!!

THAT ALL DEPENDS ON THE COLOR OF SMOKE.IF ITS WHITE YOU HAVE MOISTURE OR A COOLANT LEAK IN YOUR ENGINE IF ITS BLACK YOUR ENGINE IS RUNNING TO RICH IF ITS GREY OR SOME PEOPLE SAY BLUE,DONT KNOW WHERE THEY COME UP WITH THAT,BUT ITS OIL EITHER BAD RINGS ,VALVES OR IF IT ONLY DOES IT FOR A FEW MIN. THEN SMOKE GOES AWAY ITS PROBABLY YOUR STEM SEALS

If it's blue smoke, then that means you are burning oil and it's possible that your head gasket is on it's way out.

Oil is getting out your valves. You might need a new head gasket. How long has it been since you changed out your spark plugs?

The valve seals are bad. This normally happens after the car has sat for awhile.

you have leaky valves - no much you can do but redoing the head. sometimes you can add additives that will cut down on some of the smoke but this doesnt always help and its temporary
