if people spread malicious gossip about you which results in unfair treatment by work supervisors, teachers, and food service workers, could it be classified as discrimination? and what's the best way of dealing with it?

I believe the rumor was that I slept with my professor and it's not even close to the truth. By being treated unfairly, I mean that I was turned down when I wanted to take a class that had open seats, I also can't be sure if the grades I'm recieving are entirely accurate, my work supervisor is more demanding, and the food service workers are less friendly and take extra time, which I can deal with most of the time, but when they ruin my latte because they get sidetracked in the middle of making it...well I put in a complaint for that.

Is the guy / girl single? You must go to a really small school. I
think that you probably are feeling guilty. I doubt the cafeteria
workers give a damn about who you are fcukning! If they are
then more power to you, you must be one hottie to have
all those people hate 'n on you.

I call it ; you are a whiney ***** and no one seems to like you. Instead of trying to take advantage of the system, try not to be such a phucking tool all of the time, jackass.

It's slander, and if you can document who started this rumor, you can take it to court.
