For most tattoo parlors, the legal age without parental consent is 18. As far as moving out of your parents house that depends. You could be 16 or 60 & if they want to say something about you moving in with someone else, they can. If your moving in with someone else isn't a good idea, they will have something to say about it. Think long & hard about the decisions you are about to make as they will effect the rest of your life. Your parents are your parents no matter what. I learned that lesson when I was 16 & have never forgotten it. By the way, I have tattoos, but waited until I was on my own to get them. Good Luck!

tattoo you must be 18. Moving out depends on the state you are living in. Typically 18, but some states as early as16 if you have a place to live and employment. You have to check with your state on that one.

It all depends on where you live.

In the state of Connecticut you have to wait to get a tatoo when you are 18. If you are younger than that, you need your parents consent. That also goes for the moving out situation, it is 18 for a lot of states.

Tattoo - 18, and yes it would have to be your parents with you. And many artists will not tattoo and underage person even with parental consent.

And to move out - again 18.

So, buck up and deal -- we were all underage once and had to bide out time to be a grown up.
