I'm hurt by the behavior of a man and for the past few days the only thing I've been doing is eating junk, smoking, crying and singing along to depressive songs. I almost never do this (especially for a man that I don't even have a proper relationship with) but now I have PMS too and I'm over reacting to his awful behavior.
It's too cold here to go out so I'm stuck inside and can't forget it.

Try this... it will take some time... but it will work forever.. I promise...

Force yourself not to drag sorrow and sadness from one day to the next. Once you go to bed... it's done.. tomorrow is a new day and a new you. Every now and then it may take 2 days... but that is the limit. Don't allow something to take you out of your character for more than 48 hrs. You are young (I assume) and life is short. Decide to handle things differently. TRUST ME!!!.. after a while even the big things will only bother you for a few hours.. and you can spend all that energy on something else...

(Did I just give you a serious answer on P&S??... is that against the rules??...LOL)

First of all, *BIG HUGS!!!* Secondly, it's okay to allow yourself to do this, but for ONLY for a little while. A few days is probably enough. After that, it's time to re-join the human race and pick yourself back up. Try writing your thoughts down, and venting on paper. Watch a silly movie. Turn OFF the sad songs. Surround yourself with or call people who make you feel happy. Cuddle with an animal. Most importantly, TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. :-)

Go for a long walk at the beach just before sunset or take a walk in the woods -- I do these activities when I am in a bad mood or feel depressed. But if the weather doesn't permit me to do these stuff, I'll just keep myself occupied at home by reading a book or magazine and going online.

Hmm....running and exercising raises the level of endorphins in your blood (endorphins also assist in getting rid of achy PMS pain). You could also write/ reflect about your current situation in a diary so you can vent and help rid yourself of the poison you are feeling currently.

Start cleaning. Get up and just do it. Pretend that you are in a good mood around people, put a smile on your face and move on.
