does anyone know a company that is need of a dancewear model. people have said i would be really good at it. i really want to try it too.

The dancewear companies tend to keep using students from the same ballet schools in their area. They rarely pay their models, but the models often get to keep what they wear.

They tend to use their existing connections and they usually don't pay. If they are dance clothes manufacturers they tend to know a few dancers in their area, they just ask them. I'd suggest finding out what manufacturers do you have in the area and contacting them directly with your question. Usually, performancewear needs more modeling than practicewear, and there are a lot of smaller manufacturers that are making performance costumes.

i know alot of the time it is based on contests from dance magazines or many times they audtion at dance workshops.
you could probably find a company that would take auditions but i just thought you might want to know that they pick alot of the girls in other ways at dance conventions and stuff....

I have been in a Mag! I was chosen out of class in Joffrey though.
