Jimmy Carter commuted her prison sentence and Bill Clinton gave her a pardon. She's the daughter of a rich Democrat family, so is that why? I thought Democrats fought for the "rights of the poor".....but Patty Hearst was VERY rich......Can anyone explain?

Patty Hearst had no idea what she was doing. She was just a nother bubleheaded rich girl. She is the poster child of why inherantance tax of over 1 million dollars should be 100%.
