Why do you feel a customer would have an ultimate experience dealing with you ? Or why do you feel you are the best person for this position ?
I hate these questions, they are not going to simply base hiring you based on those answers, I believe its ridiculous ask and its just to screw with your head.

They ask you why you're the best person for the position to see what you think of yourself. When you go into a job interview, you're marketing yourself - they're not just going to hire you because you're dressed well or your hair is stylish. You have to convince them that you're the best person for the job because of your qualifications and/or experience, and while they can look at the resume and see these things, you're being given an opportunity to expand upon what's in the black and white.

Think of it as an opportunity - for you to get in anything that couldn't be put in your resume or cover letter, and to reiterate any important points about you and your history that have already been brought up in the interview.

You're right. They're not going to hire you based simply on an answer to that question. That's why there are several questions answered during the interview, and no question is asked to "screw with your head". Employers don't have time to waste on interviewing people with questions they don't feel are important, and if you can't show them why they should hire you rather than the 30 other people they've interviewed, that just places one of those 30 people a little higher than you on the list of possible new hires. It's one of many questions gauged to determine how well you would fit in there, and the answers to all of them are important.

They are not "screwing with your head." They are seeing how fast you can think and also wondering what you think of YOURSELF since customers won't think much of you if YOU don't. I've conducted interviews where I ask them at the end to tell me a joke. This tells me a LOT about a person. (how witty and fast can they think....what type of humor do they find amusing....do they even HAVE a sense of humor??)
