"If there isn't life any where else, its just a big waste of space, isn't it?"

There are billions of stars in our galaxy, and hundreds and hundreds of billions of galaxys. Most stars have planets revolving around it. What are the odds that we are the only planet with life? It may be under-developed life such as bacteria, but still life. Some scientists believe life on earth came from bacteria sent here some where else by comets. They've also found bacteria that does not have DNA.. where we know that all living things on Earth have DNA.. where did it come from? May have come from space.

it is quite possible i think

although the concept of 'aliens' are a product of human imagination, however; we cannot really tell beyond those billions of light years in our night sky.

therefore, it is also possible that a planet like ours somewhere out there can evolve just like we did.

life forms can exist in many forms and in different levels of intelligence, just like underneath the oceans.

the mystery of life is beautiful and is the subject of scientific studies for a long time

even the creation of our planet is still a mystery

there is still much to learn
