I do have the yahoo toolbars. I have already tried to change the homepage through options (already knew that) however when I go there it's greyed out and I cannot change it. I will try to uninstall the yahoo toolbar and see if that helps.

Okay... I uninstalled the yahoo toolbar and it reset my homepage back to its original one. I think it's a little crazy that yahoo would do that, very self centered.

Oh... I still can't change the address, I will have to run my virus scan and see if that fixes the problem.

Thanks again for all the advice.

Go to CONTROL PANEL, then ADD / REMOVE PROGRAMS...

See if you can find a Yahoo toolbar installed... If so, remove it...

Also, go to your TOOLS area of your browser and go to Options or Internet Options...

Pop in your desired home page, then vua la!!

In a nutshell, you have been hacked, and you have spyware, adware, virus, Trojan, backdoor or other Malware on your computer. If it is Yahoo, it isnt that bad, you probably gave Yahoo permission to be your home page and did not remember doing it, or maybe your little brother..
If you are really worried about it, Reload your Operating system.

goto the page you wish as your homepage. At the top of the page goto tools. goto internet options. if you are at your page, click use current. Thats all. some programs change your page as do some adware/redirect programs.
