I am probably the only person that will say no to this question BUT there are exceptions.

If I were you, I would make sure that you setup a banking account that only YOU have access to. My sisters husband nearly cleaned out their bank account due to his drug use. This is just a smart precaution.

What kind of drugs? If it is pot, I wouldnt leave him but if it is cocain or heroin RUN! These are extremely addictive and your husband may not have a clear enough mind to make good decisions when it comes to... "We need groceries but I also need an 8 ball... what should I buy??"

When or if the guy starts to lie to you, leave.

As long as you are his crutch he is never going to stand alone. Most drug addicts have to really hit rock bottom before they decide to turn their lives around. Know this that if he wants to stop he can he holds the power that controls his life. Things are not going to get any better if he isn't seeking and committing to treatment. So, if he can't commit. Then you have to do what is best for you.

I think it depends on the type of drugs and how often he uses them. If he is a junkie then I would leave him. But if he smokes to have a good time with his friends once in a while then i think things will be fine.

everything else is not great because eventually the drugs will make everything go to hell. (coming from a woman who had the same problem) you should ask him to seek counseling and if he wont LEAVE HIM. If he does try to be supportive. in the end its your choice. also make sure you put yo safety first.

Yes, because drugs can destroy everything that is going great. I would first try to get him help. If he didn't want it I would have to leave.

If everything else is alright in the relationship and he is addicted to drugs, you need to have a serious discussion with him to help him seek treatment. If he refuses treatment, then he isn't committed to the relationship and you need to decide what is good for you. Don't waste time!

that is up to you.

I can tell you, everyone has weaknesses. Some drugs, temper, alcohol, impatience, laziness....the list goes on.

Like the old saying "you are only as strong as your weakest link"

means you can have all the good qualities in the world, but it only takes not trying to work on your weakness to hold you back from coming full circle as a human.

It's up to you to tolerate, and him to recognize and face his weaknesses.
