It depends on your education, experience and ability to do something. On the other hand, you can select what you think of as the ideal job, one that you would give your right eye for. Then. look it up and find out how to go about getting it. If it requires experience, try some volunteer work. If it requires a college education, find a school that has that as a major area.
Just think of it this way: you will not become an eye surgeon without a medical degree; but you might qualify for a bookkeeper with only an associate degree.
Don't forget there are such things as vocational schools.

nursing..? i know theres a lot of great programs out there that you can finish in about 2 years and i know that nurses are greatly needed right now and depending on where you work you can make great money
