Most apartment complexes run credit checks. Private rooms for rent from individuals usually mean no credit checks. Look in the paper under rooms for rent.

Good luck in finding an Apartment Complex that doesn't run a credit check. If you credit needs a quick fix, try the site below. This is very affordable and you get results fast. Also below is a site for a company that leases homes, check it out. Hope this helps.

I am in Fort Worth and have poor credit due to a bankruptcy. I was just honest and upfront with my landlords. As long as you have the income to back the place and a clean rental history some complexes will let the credit slide. Just make sure you pay your rent on time every month as it will help give you a good credit reference in the future.
