Eatling less food than you need has never been a good strategy for losing weight. Your body thinks it is being starved and as soon as you start eating normally again it will store as much food as it can as fat so it can survive if it starves again. This is an automatic reaction by your body and there is nothing you can do to prevent or change it. It is much better to eat normally and exercise so your metabolism goes up and you burn calories faster.

No no no no..... this is not the correct, healthy or apropriate way to losw weight... nooooo!!!! You need to be careful, wha he is doing is even dangerous. The apropriate way is working out regularly, follow a well balanced diet (given to you by a nutritionist), drink lots of water and have 5 meals a day (same total amount divided by 5)... to lose weight you need to create a caloric deficit, that means eating less calories than those you burn... BUT... the calories you are talking about are dangerously low... see... 900 cals would be the ideal for a girl like 8 yrs old. You need to eat more. see... if you starve yourself with diets like that, at the begining you lose weight, but our bodies are too smart to keep doing this... when you do this, our bodies start keeping fat and nutrients, resulting in even weight gain.... yes, incredible but true... its our body's way to prepare itself for the "starving" time it sees its coming....

sooo... go see a nutritionist really... it's the best.
