It could be anyday now. Maybe your due date was not right. You must be in a healthy stage if they are not planning to stop it.
Good luck

I dropped twice one pregnancy. After 37 weeks is considered full term, but being even close to that doesn't usually make the docs too nervous. Pretty much at this point, baby is gaining weight and developing lungs. If there are no other symptoms, I wouldn't worry too much, and even then the sypmtoms could take a while too. I had mild contractions irregularly for a week or two in all three pregnancies. Blessings.

Its ok to drop at 35 weeks technically 36 weeks your actually already 9 months your due date is calculated at 40 weeks which is 10 months so it can be anyday now A normal baby can be born within 36-40 weeks your baby should be a full term unless other complications occur Good Luck Sweety and Congrats!!!

I dropped about a month before I actually went into labor. Its just a waiting game after this. You are safe if you give birth at 35 weeks, complication rate is low.

It could be another month or so before you actually goes in labor. The reason why they won't stop labor at this point is because you are almost 36 weeks, and your baby's lungs are fully mature. Why don't you talk to your doctor or his nurse, that could relieve some of your anxiety. Take it easy and good luck.

You've started the process, but many women drop around 35-37 weeks. It's not unheard of.

If you go into labor, you're going to be fine. The baby may spend some time in the NICU, but you'll both be fine.

HOWEVER, your water has yet to break and you're not having serious contractions. Until then, go with the flow.

Why didn't you ask your doctor this question?

all women drop it doesn't mean that you are going to go into labor soon it just means that the baby is getting lower and getting ready for the big day.

i dropped around then too and nothing has happened yet

It all depends, if you would like for the baby to come soon, I recommend walking. At 35 weeks and 5 days your baby is not premature.

You're almost 36 weeks now. That's not bad. The baby should be fine if s/he is born now. You won't know until you start having other symptoms. Have you lost your mucus plug? If not, that will be a sign that you're delivery date is soon.
