I just used the bathroom and there was blood in my stool! I wonder why?

Blood in your stool can be as minor as hemorrhoids and as major as inflammatory bowel disease or cancer.
Bright red blood is usually not as serious as blood that is maroon or black.
You need to make an appointment with your doctor sooner than later to get this evaluated.

There's a lot of possible answers to your question. You could have hemorrhoids, which were aggravated by the bowel movement, or you could have some kind of internal bleeding issue. Best thing to do would be to make an appointment to see your doctor soon. If there was a significant amount of blood, you might want to get checked out at your local ER ASAP.

Dont wait on this one here... go see your primary dr as soon as possible. you might have hemrroids or it could be something else. if this keeps happening to you then go seek help at the local emergency room where you live...
