Tell her that. She's not a stranger she's your sister for crying out loud! She might think that you don't even mind her taking your clothes and she's going to continue it if you don't say something.

Well sounds very familiar. Both my daughters had the same problem. The older one always into her sister's things. Wearing her clothes, using her make-up, etc, etc. It became such a problem, because the older girl was never as careful as the younger one and that always caused a big argument. Finally, Jessie moved from home, and way to young. But she just couldn't live with her older sister any longer. I hope it not that bad at your house. Anyway, a suggestion is to lock your bedroom door, but if you share a room, the only thing I can think of is to get a nice "hope chest", they lock, and put your good clothes, etc, under lock and key. Hell of a way to live. Can't your parents do anything about your situation? Anyway, try that. Good Luck.

Start wearing hers, for starters. I wish I could be more helpful, but my sisters were always older than me and that never happened to me. I would think that maybe taking one of her brand new outfits and wearing it to school or somewhere without her permission, will get her thinking. It might make her mad. Then you can make your point that she is doing the same to you. I don't know if it will help or not. I guess it's better for you to take the advice of someone younger than me. Good luck with this!

Next time she borrows an outfit, leave it on her bed, and tell her that if she wants to borrow your clothes, then she will ahve to launder them before returning them to you. To really makes this hit home, tell her she will have to dry-clean them. I don't know anyone who likes to do laundry that doesn't actually belong to them.

Furthermore, if she damages any item, she will have to compensate you for it, either by paying cash in the amount it is worth, or by purchasing a similar replacement.

With the monetary risks involved, I bet your sister will likely start shopping for her own clothes or borrowing from her friends. This may seem harsh, but it would be effective.

First, tell her to wear her own clothes once in a while. Then, put a lock on your closet — or, even better, your room.

thats part of being sisters. i always had 3 times the clothes cuz we all shared. can you borrow her things too? like purse? or clothes? she probably just likes how you look in ur clothes, and is trying to be like you...thats cute, but i know its annoying. try to work something out...like once a week, and you get equal access...someday you might wish you could still share clothes...i know i do!

Older or younger sis? If younger, she's probably trying to emulate you. Take her out and hang out with her, let her know you think she's awesome as an individual.
Either way, try talking to your sis and tell her it bugs you, and tell her why it bugs you.
