How come people think that short girls are fat? From the things I've heard, it seems that that's people's first impression. But it's not true! Cause I know many short girls and they are skinny. And I'm short and I'm skinny too. So why is that when people hear of short girls they think they're fat?

Because being a short girl of 5ft2 myself, I know that as a size 6-8, I will look 'fatter' than a girl who is tall and a size 6-8.
It doesn't mean short people are 'fat', it's just that if we compare ourselves to taller girls who wear the same size as us, we will always appear bigger than them at that particular size.
It's easier to look stocky when you are shorter and it's harder to disguise excess weight, which is an advantage of being taller. But if you are lucky enough to be small framed with no excess fat, then you won't have these problems anyway.

People are just clueless and tend to sterotype, which i hate.
i am short and skinny; but my problem is that ppl think i am much younger than i really am. People judge; they dont know..... they should just keep their mouth shut and they would learn. Not all short girls are fat; not all tall girls are skinny! :)

I don't understand that reasoning at all. I'm 5 feet tall and petite. I've never had any issues with my weight and I've always been short.

Because in some cases fat girls loose their height when thay get heavy, all those pounds wieghs them down but all the kids in my calls are short and wicked skinny, i'm also tall and skinny too so...whatever people arent always right!

maybe they are fat. im short. 5 foot. no one tells me im fat because im not. lol
