yes you should offer the breast befor the solids up untill 12 months old this is there most important food source untill then goodluck

I just started the last week giving my 8 month old his solids before breastmilk. Morning and night he is still on the breast, but throughout the day we do breastmilk in a bottle/sippy. He still drinks the same amount of milk doing it this way. As they get older they drink less milk and eat more solids anyway. I think the 8-9 month range is ok to start doing solids first only if they've been eating solids for a while and seem to do okay with them.

actually by 8months you can start offerring solids before a milk feed, especially if the baby has been on solids for a while already. they still need the full amount of milk though.

yes, its important to breast feed until there at least 12 months old. Or so I heard.
